From the "130 Degrees" collection. A nice trip-hop music piece that can be used as a television theme song.
Inspired by DJ Starq's "It That Beautiful" from Reasonstation.net.
Dedicated to my daughter, Tamilyn Myel.
This is not really a remix of DJ_StarQ's "It That Beautiful" track, I just use a small sample from the original. I was inspired by the intro piano chords immediately and I just felt the composition for this one.
StarQ's track is a slow 84 BPM and more of an experimental, new age, ambient style. My track is 130 BPM and contrasts the original in many ways.
I didn't have a lot of time to arrange and mix like I wanted to (had to get to work @ my day job as a web developer).
Tell me what you think! I love feedback!

It may seem like a dumb question, but people are dead serious when they ask, "What does 'Flip a sample' mean?" It's actually a good question that goes back to sampling, making beats with samples or using samples in beats.
I made this FREE video on sample flipping to answer the question, "What does FLIP A SAMPLE mean?"
My Sample Flip Beats and video tutorials on How to Flip a Sample and Making Sample Flip Beats go into more detail about sample flipping, sample chopping and sample slicing. These videos demonstrate and explain the process I use when I flip a sample.
I am the drummer for a Gospel Jazz band, The Upper Room. Here is a bio that was put together on me a few years back.
