TaurusBeats shows How To Flip A Sample with Akai MPD32 and Propellerhead Reason making the beat Calling
You want to see how to flip a sample using Propellerhead Reason and the Yamaha DJX as a MIDI controller. Watch this video of TaurusBeats showing the making of "Ghetto Child" - a sample f;ip beat.
In this video, I show how to flip a sample using Propellerhead Reason and the Yamaha DJX as a MIDI controller.
This video shows my process of playing the parts I hear in my head, repeatedly, in order to get a final idea of what i want to put in the track. I do this step to get the feel I want for the final track.
Notice that there is no metronome or other time-keeping device playing in the background while I'm going through the parts. When I do go through and create the tracks, I play each of the parts with the feel I established. I don't use quantizing while recording the tracks. This allows for the human feel to come through, even though I'm doing everything on computer.
This is not necessary to create a morehuman feel when making computer music. It is just one of the ways I make music.
