How To Load Samples Into NN-XT
The NN-XT Advanced Sampler in Propellerhead Reason is my "go-to" device whenever I do sample flip beats. It is a GREAT tool, but at first, it can be hard to use. When I first started using Reason to make sample flip beats, it took me a little while to figure out how to load the NN-XT with samples.

great vids and tight beat
im lookin for some help!
when sampling beats how do you get each different chop to play on your keyboard?
havin really trouble tryin to figure it out
would really appreciate some help!
I use the NN-XT Advanced Sampler in Propellerheads Reason music creation software and load it with a .RX2 or .REX file, which is sliced sample. The Recycle program converts .WAV files into .RX2 files and allows you to make the sample chops. There are other programs that do this, too.
After loading the .RX2 file into the NN-XT, the slices are automatically mapped to keys on the keyboard MIDI controller. All you have to do is find the right octave on the keyboard and start flipping the sample.
Let me know if this helps you.
Grace and Peace!
