I once read a definition of the word "inspirational" as being:
imparting a divine influence on the mind and soul
This music that I create has been described as "inspirational" by many listeners from around the world. I am truly blessed and humbled when I read these emails and comments from listeners.
I am blessed because of the fact that people I have never met, some on the other side of the globe, spend their most precious resource (time) listening to this "Moody instruMental Music". I am also blessed because listeners go even further to spend more time to express how much they enjoy this music.
I am humbled because I know that I am not able to "impart a divine influence on the mind and soul" of anyone. Musically, I'm not able to "perform" what I "create". (I'm not even formally "trained" or "studied" in music.)
These comments remind me of my inspiration, who is the only one who can "impart a divine influence on the mind and soul" - Jesus Christ.
All glory is His alone.
It is so easy for me to write or say what "I have done" when it comes to this music. The fact is that I am simply an "instrument", happy to be used in reaching people around the world.
Music has always been in my heart and my mind. I remember hours I spent as a child conducting "imaginary orchestras" in playing the beautiful music I heard so clearly in my head and felt so deeply in my heart. This was music I had never heard before.
Now I know that God placed this music in me. I am just now learning how to get it out.
From my "imaginary orchestras" to buckets, bottles and cans (trash) to regional and national bands to now; my efforts at "making" music have always been aimed at reaching people. Jesus Christ is the one who makes sure that this is exactly what happens.
As you listen to this "Moody instruMental Music", keep in mind that you are listening to a man with no formal music training (unless you want to count 7th-grade clarinet), who is "inspired" through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ to make improvisational music to share with the world for free.
Listeners say: "Your music is so inspirational."
I say: "Jesus Christ is the source of the inspiration you experience."
May the name of Jesus be magnified. May He continue to "impart a divine influence on the mind and soul" of all who listen to this "Moody instruMental Music". All Glory is His.

Dear Taurus,I was searching on the internet to find out how I can possibly learn how to compose music. I write alot of lyrics but have the slightest clue on how to create music for them. Anyway I came across your website in the search engine and after listening to all, I mean every instrumental on here, I just had to tell you WOW!!! Your music is so heartfelt. Absolutely beautiful. And I must say very inspiring!!. Hopefully someday I can find a way to let myself be heard through music. Good Luck in all you do.Sincerely Deena
