Moody Mental Musician
TaurusBeats: Moody Mental Music
I create Moody Mental Music in spontaneous Facebook Live sessions, sharing my raw thoughts and emotions through one-time piano performances. These piano freestyles are like journal entries—capturing moments of joy, reflection, and sometimes, struggle. Although I’m not a formally trained pianist, losing much of my eyesight in 2014 gave me a new perspective, deepening my connection to music.
Influences include: George Benson, Bob James, Brian Culbertson
Sample-Flip Beat Maker
TaurusBeats: Sample-Flip Beat Maker
My passion for flipping samples drives much of my music. I love transforming sounds into something new and unexpected, experimenting with unique blends of beats and samples. While I’ve shared a few of my sample-flip techniques on YouTube using Reason Studios' Reason DAW, I keep many unheard sample-flip beats exclusively on my website.
Influences include: J-Dilla, 9th Wonder, Pete Rock
Music Producer
DreZimmer: Music Producer
As DreZimmer, I began producing music in 2003 for my jazz band, The Upper Room, based in Ogden, Utah. Today, I continue to produce under this name, collaborating with artists like CoCo Kimmie to help them grow in their music careers. Adopting the DreZimmer alias reflects a new direction for me and pays homage to two of my greatest influences—Dr. Dre and Hans Zimmer.
Artists include: CoCo Kimmie, The Upper Room
DJ & Rapper
Kid Kikit DJ & Rapper
Back in my DJ days, I was known as Kid Kikit, the youngest radio DJ at the US Air Force Academy. This name followed me as I started rapping and performing party sets across the USA. My experience as a DJ sharpened my ear for music production and beat-making, skills I still use today in my music.
Influences include: DJ Jazzy Jeff, Gucci-D (Rod Ross of the ChillVille Crew in Tallahassee, FL)
Mentor & Helper
Coach T: Mentor & Helper
Helping others elevate is at the core of who I am. As Coach T, I mentor young men through programs like JAM Camp in Xenia, Ohio, and The Victory Project in Dayton, Ohio. I use music as a tool to inspire and encourage them to see themselves and the world more positively.
Influences include: All the men who helped me to see myself.
