These piano freestyles are like journal entries—capturing moments of joy, reflection, and sometimes, struggle. Although I’m not a formally trained pianist, losing much of my eyesight in 2014 gave me a new perspective, deepening my connection to music.

As DreZimmer, I began producing music in 2003 for my jazz band, The Upper Room, based in Ogden, Utah. Today, I continue to produce under this name, collaborating with artists like CoCo Kimmie to help them grow in their music careers. Adopting the DreZimmer alias reflects a new direction for me and pays homage to two of my greatest influences—Dr. Dre and Hans Zimmer.

Back in my DJ days, I was known as Kid Kikit, the youngest radio DJ at the US Air Force Academy. This name followed me as I started rapping and performing party sets across the USA. My experience as a DJ sharpened my ear for music production and beat-making, skills I still use today in my music.
