The idea for Dead On came from a craigslist posting from someone looking form music for a film. The music was for a specific scene and was supposed to be edgy and eerie with a hint of suspense. I never saw the film, but I tried to imagine the scene in my head while I composed the music.
I made this one originally without the drum beat, guitar and the bass, as more of an eerie and suspenseful track. I wanted the piano to provide a sense of urgency.
This is the last version of Dead On and I added it to the Emurgensy CD collection.
