Question from a subscriber:

hey man i jus wanted to let u know, ur music is a great inspiration to me. i have the same setup as u with reason 4 and the MPD32, except i have a keystation 49 instead of the oxygen. i noticed that in one of ur vids u used the mpd transport buttons to play the song, mine dont work like that and i cant figure out why. if u have any solutions to help out that would be great and much appreciated!!

Response:

I get a lot of questions about the MPD32 hookup to Reason. Thing is, all I did was plug mine in and started playing with it. I didn't make any settings. Is your MPD set to the Reason preset (#2)?

If that's all good, I suggest you try uninstalling/re-installing the MPD32 drivers on your computer. From the questions I'm getting, people are having problems because they use the MPD with another software besides Reason. If you're doing the same thing, it may be possible that the settings from the other program are conflicting in some way.

Grace and peace!

Taurus - ur stuff is the *ting* man i'm tellin ya. I also learned that your a drummer - me to! When I was a kid I used to play around with the piano/keyboard in the 80's/90's (26yr old now). But I can't read music - I play by ear, just like you. You hit the pads & keys, (i gotta mpd32 to!;) in the same manner as me - it flows. I reckon we can play steel drums - even tho we never have! or maybe you have - i don't know! I'm luvin your youtube flix - keep em comin dood. Peace bruv Andy D, birmingham UK.
